Kickstarter of the Week: D6 Shooter

Take on the roll of a bounty hunter in the Old West and hunt down bandits. Armed with your trusty six shooters (a pile of six-sided dice), you have to capture bandits, make sure they stay in jail and go up the ranks of law enforcement.

That’s D6 Shooter, an upcoming game from Epic Scale Games.

You can support the game’s Kickstarter here.  So far, the game has about $8,000 pledged toward a goal of $10,000.

Two to four players can play, and as you catch bandits or win shooting contests, you’ll earn “Rep” points. The more points you get, the better rank (bounty hunter, deputy, sheriff, marshal) you achieve. The first to earn the coveted Marshal job wins the game.

It’s a relatively simple game with easy, but really fun mechanics. We can’t wait to try it out.

In the box, there are custom dice and a stack of cards featuring bandits, events, items and badges.

There are already add-ons and expansions include a standard 52-card poker deck (which includes cards that can be used in the game), buttons, extra dice and copie sof other games from Epic Scale.

Stretch goals, which haven’t yet been met, include upgraded card stock and new cards.
